Our Mission
Black Lion Foundation is a nonprofit organization that is a catalyst for economic development and empowerment. Our focus is to close the wealth gap. We address the root causes, through job placement, financial literacy education and new business development. We train aspiring entrepreneurs in every aspect of business without any charges to them. Our objective is to sponsor 16 new start-up businesses within the next 28 months.

Took the Financial Master Class
I loved the historical information given to understand the why's. The class was filled with golden nuggets. Highly recommend people watch their YouTube videos and take the Master Class when it's given again. James Holmes, Jr. Is a knowledgeable and caring teacher who is taking care of his community.

In a time of systematic inequality and division, Black Lion Foundation cancels out the noise and narrows in on what we can control, the education and financial development of Twin City's inner city and surrounding counties’ youth and young adults. However, Mr. Holmes a.k.a “Uncle James”, a name earned from the energy he exudes, did not limit the access to the 9 week course. With YouTube and social media at our fingertips, information on investing, personal and business credit building, debt eradication, and more are just a click away along with Mr. James himself. I’m grateful for the experience and look forward to continuing to implement what I learned in my daily life.
